Co-Founders

HaveMyShift.com is looking for co-founders.  The right people know what to do in any situation that arises and will stand up for their knowledge and their work.  They are simultaneously coachable and committed, above all else, to the success of their team and their company.
As a Technical Founder, you know:
- Ruby, Rails, REST, RSpec
- The rest of the Rails stack: Linux, SQL databases, load balancers, servers like Apache and Nginx
- Lean Startup Methodologies, Steve Blank’s “The Four Steps”, Agile practices
You have a burning desire to build new and innovative products.  You are passionate about your work, about how your users experience your work.  You are a technical generalist, ready to tackle whatever problems crop up.
As a Business Founder, you know:
- How to find the right questions to ask.
- How to plan for success and respond to the reality of the market.
- How startups can take advantage of social media.
- That the answers lie outside of the walls of your organization.
- That you will succeed in building a profitable business.
You are ready to dive in to the Customer Development process as outlined in Steve Blank’s work.  You are a tenacious, data-driven problem solver.  You are equipped to work with customers large and small, on an individual scale and en-masse.
What’s the work?
We are breaking ground in the last great bastion of networked-communication: The managed workforce.  There are immense efficiency and productivity gains to be had by connecting the workforce at every level.  When a workforce holds the goals of the company as its own goals amazing things happen for each individual in the workforce and for the growth and profitability of the company.  The first step in making these connections is workplace scheduling.  A networked workforce can easily optimize the utility of their schedule for their company and each individual involved.
What kind of a company are we building?
- A Friendly, positive, practical environment
- Where the growth and success of each individual is as important as one’s own
- Where we tackle hard problems daily
- And the reality faced by customers drives our decision making
